Garden edging that holds its line
Steel, aluminium, timber or concrete edges that separate bed from lawn and path from planting. Set on a proper base so they stay straight, stop the spread and keep the whole garden looking sharp.
What we edge
Clean edges, in the right material
An edge does two jobs: it stops grass and mulch migrating where they shouldn't, and it gives the garden a finished line. We match the material to the look and the job, then set it properly so it lasts.
Steel and aluminium edging
Slim, modern metal edging that bends to clean curves and crisp straights, for a sharp line that all but disappears into the garden.
Timber and sleeper edging
Treated timber and sleeper edges that suit a warmer, natural look and double as low borders for raised beds.
Concrete and paver edging
Poured concrete strips and paver mowing strips that hold a hard, durable line and let the mower run right to the edge.
Spade-cut natural edges
A clean, spade-cut trench edge between bed and lawn where you want definition without an installed material.
Materials matched to the garden
We talk through metal, timber, concrete and stone on site and recommend the edge that suits the home, the planting and the budget.
Set on a proper base
Edging is only as good as what holds it. We excavate, set the line and bed it so it stays put rather than lifting or wandering.
Why it lasts
An edge is only as good as how it is set
Most edging that fails was never set properly. Pushed into loose soil or laid without a base, it lifts with frost, wanders out of line and lets grass creep straight back over it within a season. We treat the setting as the real job: a cut line, a firm base and edging bedded so it holds.
Edging is part of our landscape construction work, so it can be a standalone job to tidy up existing beds or one piece of a larger garden build. Either way it is the same founder-led crew, and every job is scoped and quoted in person on site so the price reflects the real lengths, access and material.
- Steel, aluminium, timber and concrete options to suit the garden
- Set on a firm base so the line holds and grass stays out
- Quoted in person on site, never by the hour

What local clients say
Real reviews from homes across Melbourne's inner north, in their own words.
Exceeded all expectations! Saxon came to see what work was required, offered suggestions & gave me a quote on the spot. Plants were delivered & then Cam and Elf arrived on time and cleaned up my front and backyard of overgrown bamboo, tree shoots, weeds and replanted my front planter box removing dead plants as well as trimming grass plants back. I am thrilled with the result and just wish I had taken before photos to show the incredible job done.

Thank you Oliver & Cam for doing such a great job on a very overgrown backyard ivy - great communication and consultation throughout. Thanks Saxon for prompt response and booking, great communication and a pleasure to deal with. Now I've found this team I'll be returning in the future.

Cameron did a fantastic job with our front, side and backyards. He was efficient and had 4 bags/bins worth of weeds and vines packed in 3 hours. Saxon was able to squeeze me in last minute before a rental inspection. Highly recommend these guys!
